JIM

This loco was the first to arrive at the Derwent Valley from Starbeck in Harrogate. It was their first locomotive, and the picture below shows Jim as it was after restoration at Starbeck. The loco was preserved from a scrap yard in Shipley, a picture of is shown below. This loco has spent a long time out of use at Murton due to damaged engine mounts, but this has been repaired and the loco is once again servicable.
