HUDSWELL CLARKE
No 65
Hudswell Clark No65 arrived at our railway in June1997. This loco recieved a substantial rebuild from its original self by its owner at his engineering company. (B&W Engineering, Elvington). Originally this loco was a saddle tank, and was one of two purchased from Carnforth. The second loco has since been sold on to another owner. Before restoration, the loco was originally based at the Lakeside and Haverthwaite railway in Cumbria. In industry, the loco has several owners, one being the steel works at Scunthorpe, and also at a quarry in Northamptonshire.
***This loco is now awaiting it's boiler overhaul, it's 10 year ticket expried in June 2005.***
