This loco is the only loco we have that is original to the Derwent Valley Light Railway. Churchill was the shunter used at the Yorkshire Grain Driers at Dunnington, and upon closure, the loco was driven to the site of the Yorkshire Farming Museum and donated to the museum. The loco is also our oldest diesel, but over the years has given a good performance on our passenger trains. It is currently out of use with a gearbox problem, but will be returned to use as soon as possible. There are several pictures of Churchill in the History section.
